With the beginning of the school year just weeks away, the Business Office and Nutrition Department of St. Helens School District wanted to reach out and share our plans to provide meal service under the comprehensive distance learning mode of the hybrid learning model.
In response to Oregon Fueling Students for Success Act new Expanded Income Guidelines, the St. Helens School District Nutrition Services Department will be transitioning to a new software platform, Titan School Solutions.

6:30 PM School Board Regular Meeting
The St. Helens School District will begin the school year on September 8 with parent-teacher conferences for families to meet teachers and explain the instructional model and digital tools.
Our goal is for families to have control and choice about the best “school” option for their child. Families may choose between a Hybrid Model and a distance learning option called theSt. Helens Virtual Academy.
At this time, the district is anticipating the Hybrid option will start in the Comprehensive Distance Learning (CDL) mode due to the Oregon Health Authority re-opening infection rate guidelines.

We are excited to once again receive the support and confidence from our community to continue to improve the facilities of the St. Helens School District. St. Helens High School has long needed renovations to upgrade to a 21st century learning institution.
We recognize that the bond is an investment in the future of our students and our community. The work that we do on the high school will result in well planned and carefully built spaces that will serve St. Helens students and the community for many years.

ODE Parent Input Needed
The City of St. Helens and St. Helens School District have partnered to bring a Recreation Program to St. Helens. Both the City of St. Helens and St. Helens School District identify building a better community as one of their main agency goals and believe that a recreation program is one way to help support that goal.
A school year program serving Lewis and Clark, Arthur Academy, McBride and Columbia City Elementary Schools. We provide bus transportation from McBride, Arthur Academy and Columbia City Elementary. Students attending Lewis and Clark stay onsite.
