In response to Oregon Fueling Students for Success Act new Expanded Income Guidelines, the St. Helens School District Nutrition Services Department will be transitioning to a new software platform, Titan School Solutions.
The St. Helens School District will begin the school year on September 8 with parent-teacher conferences for families to meet teachers and explain the instructional model and digital tools.
Our goal is for families to have control and choice about the best “school” option for their child. Families may choose between a Hybrid Model and a distance learning option called theSt. Helens Virtual Academy.
At this time, the district is anticipating the Hybrid option will start in the Comprehensive Distance Learning (CDL) mode due to the Oregon Health Authority re-opening infection rate guidelines.
The district has set up a Q&A page for SHSD families to be able to submit questions not answered on the attached flyer. Please review the many questions that have already been addressed before entering your submission. Click here to be directed to the page.
Thank you for your ongoing patience and support as we navigate these unprecedented times.
Thank you to the voters of the St. Helens School District for supporting the St. Helens High School Improvement Bond. We are excited to once again receive the support and confidence from our community to continue to improve the facilities of the St. Helens School District. St. Helens High School has long needed renovations to upgrade to a 21st century learning institution.
We recognize that the bond is an investment in the future of our students and our community. The work that we do on the high school will result in well planned and carefully built spaces that will serve St. Helens students and the community for many years.
On behalf of the students and staff, we want to thank you for your support and commitment to our schools.
