    Welcome to the 2019-2020 school year. This will be my 34th year teaching, all at St. Helens High School. I am looking forward the upcoming school year. I am married, my wife Darla is the director of Sauvie Island School. I have 4 children: Paul 37 Joel 32, Madison 15 and Jake 12. I have not experienced an empty nest in my home ever! 
     
    If you need are a student and need my help, I am available after school each day until 4pm. I have the expectation that students will work hard and do their best and that I will do everything I can to help make their year a successful one.
