Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Sheri Lee

The kids call me "Teacher Sheri" or just Sheri most days.  We all go by first names in here because we find that last names and adding prefixes can be a few too many syllables sometimes!
So, a little bit about me... I am married to my hubby, Darren, and have two daughters (as of 2015 they are in 9th and 10th grade.)  We live in Hillsboro.  We have a dog named Finn, who I just discovered I'm allergic to.  Oh well...  Both of my girls sing in the school choir.  My family is active in our church where I also teach the primary-age Sunday School class and Wednesday night group.
I graduated with my Master's degree from PSU in their Dual Inclusion program where I received both a license for special education as well as regular education (elementary.)  I have been teaching for 12 years now, the whole time in this classroom!  I also received a Bachelor's degree in Psychology which I find helps me a lot in this field.  When I was in my 20's, I worked as an Instructional Assistant in special education in the Tigard-Tualatin School district (for 6 years.)
I don't really have any hobbies but I love to catch up on my TV shows (CSI, Law & Order, Hawaii 5-O, Castle, NCIS, among many of my favorites,) spend time at the beach or camping, and basically just relax!
