    Hello All!

    A little about me is that I was born and raised in the St.Helens community.  In high school, I was a three-sport athlete (Baseball, Basketball and Football) at SHHS. In 2008 I was drafted by the Florida Marlins in the 2008 MLB draft and went on to spend time playing with the Florida Marlins Organization as well as playing professionally in Germany. 

     
    After retiring from baseball, I came home to Portland and started my degree in Health Education from Portland State University. Soon after finishing I also added a Masters Degree in Education.
     
    For the 2019-20 school year, my wife and I taught English in Zhengzhou, China and unfortunately had to come home due to Covid-19. What a great time and great experience. Now, in my first year at SHHS and my second full year teaching, I couldn't be more excited to be back in my hometown.
