Volunteering in the St. Helens School District

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the St. Helens School District!

Volunteers play a vital role in supporting our students, staff, and schools. Whether you're a parent, guardian, family member, neighbor, or community member, there are many meaningful ways to get involved. Volunteers can tutor or mentor students, assist in the library or cafeteria, help with recess, support art literacy programs, and much more.

By sharing your time and talents, you enrich the educational experience for our students, strengthen support for teachers and staff, and help build strong, positive partnerships between our schools and the community. Volunteering is not only rewarding for our schools, it’s also a meaningful and fulfilling way to make a difference.

Because the safety of students is of primary importance, there are a few steps required in order for a volunteer application to be fully approved.
