As health officials are gearing up for a serious influenza season that likely will combine the usual seasonal threat with the H1N1 virus, or swine flu, the St. Helens School District has been preparing too. Prevention officials warn that cumulative absenteeism from flu this winter could reach 40%. Please join us in educating our families in prevention measures which can help stop the spread of germs and avoid respiratory illnesses like the flu.
