2026-2027 Budget

NOTICE OF BUDGET COMMITTEE MEETING

A public meeting of the Budget Committee of the St. Helens School District #502, Columbia County, State of Oregon, to discuss the budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2026 to June 30, 2027, will be held at the District Office at 474 N. 16^th Street, St. Helens, Oregon. The meeting will take place on Wednesday, May 6, 2026 at 5:30 p.m. Community members may also view the meeting via livestream on the district's YouTube channel. https://www.youtube.com/@shsdvideo6360/streams

The purpose of the meeting is to receive the budget message. This is a public meeting where deliberation of the Budget Committee will take place.

An additional, separate meeting of the Budget Committee will be held to take public comment. Any person may appear at the meeting and discuss the proposed programs with the Budget Committee. The meeting for public comment will be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2026 at 5:30 p.m. at District Office at 474 N. 16^th Street, St. Helens, Oregon. Those who wish to address the budget committee via a remote option may arrange to do so by e-mailing lindam@sthelens.k12.or.us by 4:00 PM on Wednesday, May 20, 2026. A copy of the budget document may be inspected or obtained on or after May 5, 2026 at the District Office at 474 N. 16^th Street, St. Helens, Oregon between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. A nominal fee of $3 will be charged for copies. The budget document will also be made available on the District’s webpage at https://www.sthelens.k12.or.us/district-info/budget-information/2026-2027-budget.
