Inter-District Transfers

Interdistrict Transfers (ORS 339.133(5)(a), amended by House Bill 2747 and HB 4007)

An Interdistrict transfer is an agreement between the St. Helens School District and another school district for a student to attend school outside of their boundary district.  Transfer paperwork is required at BOTH the resident and non-resident school districts.  The “resident” school district is assigned according to the parent/guardian’s legal address of residence.
