Connected Today. Capable Tomorrow.
Stacey Mendoza
At the St. Helens School District, our work continues to be anchored in our district tagline: Learn, Connect, Commit. This year, we are placing a special emphasis on Connect through our district-wide initiative, “Connected Today. Capable Tomorrow.”
We know that academic success and future readiness don't happen in a vacuum. Before students can envision a bright future, they need to feel safe, known, and truly connected to the people around them. Strong relationships and a deep sense of belonging are the true foundations of student achievement, confidence, and well-being.
"Connected Today. Capable Tomorrow." isn't just a slogan—it is our shared commitment to ensuring every single student in our district knows they have a place here, along with a strong network of caring adults and peers supporting them every step of the way.
We are so excited to partner with our district families this school year to build a community where every student belongs, grows, and thrives. Welcome back!
