Welcome to my 5th grade classroom! I attended George Fox University and have a master’s degree in K-12 Education. I have also been a 6th grade math and science teacher, a theater teacher, and a reading specialist.

When I'm not at school, I love spending time with my daughter and my animals. I also love to hike and camp - basically anything that takes me outdoors! My favorite book series is Harry Potter and my favorite TV show is Doctor Who. I'm a big fan of the Chicago Cubs, 4H, and all things pumpkin spice.

I am passionate about project-based learning, and love creating a fun and rigorous classroom culture. Your student will accomplish amazing things this year. I can’t wait to see where their creativity and innovation take us!
