Each year St Helens Schools create School Improvement Plans that align with the district vision and goals. There is an effort for plans to be seamless from K-12 in an effort to best streamline curriculum and other initiatives throughout the district. The School Improvement Plan or SIP is a way of holding schools accountable, communicating our goals and also celebrating our accomplishments. The SIP is developed in a collaborative manner at Site Council Meetings and reflect the voice of the staff. Site Councils are comprised of Teachers, Classified Staff Members, Parents/Community Members and the Principal. These are elected positions and at the end of each two-year term seats become available. Should you have interest in serving on the St Helens Middle School Site Council in the future please contact Principal Carol Dowsett.
