This is my twentieth year in teaching math at the middle school. I have a degree from Seattle University in Math and US History. I also obtained my Masters in Teaching from Seattle University. I was raised in Gold Beach, OR. I have lived in this area for 20 years and loved every minute of it. Mr. Bailey, another SHMS math teacher and I are the proud parents of twins who are busy, happy toddlers. We are excited for them to grow up and learn about our area and the world beyond. My mission for all my students is to leave my classroom with a deeper
understanding of mathematics and a strong confidence in their ability to do
mathematics. Every student can be mathematical. Your student and I will
work on finding a way to make mathematics comfortable and reliable.
I also hope every student will enjoy their time in my room both learning
about math and about themselves. I am very dedicated to helping your student succeed
in both my classroom, and in life.I am usually available to speak with parents on Monday and Thursday after
school once volleyball season ends Nov. 12th. You can either reach me by e-mail or phone.I can answer an e-mail faster than a phone call.
Please feel free to contact me anytime.
Have a great day!
