Teaching in Our Classroom:
This is my fifteenth year at Lewis and Clark School, and I absolutely love teaching here! I am very excited to be teaching fifth grade with this group of students! The positive environment and sense of community at Lewis and Clark excite me to come to work every day and facilitate learning in our classroom.
Some of my favorite things to do with the students are:
Playing music in the classroom
Smiling and laughing
Conducting cool science experiments
Getting overly enthusiastic about math
Doing community-building activities
Getting students to move
When I'm not in the classroom, I enjoy hiking, walking, bicycling, working out in the gym, attending college sporting events, playing the piano, tackling yard work, cooking, making homemade ice cream, playing Bananagrams, Boggle, Words with Friends, and doing crossword and Sudoku puzzles.
