Here is a little bit of information about me.
I went to Pacific University for my undergraduate education and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education. Later I completed my Masters of Education at the University of Portland.
I am married with two adorable girls, and a handsome boy. My oldest Maggie, is a SENIOR at SHHS, Molly is in 10th grade. Both girls are members of the Sea Lions Swim Team and SHHS Swim Team. Both had great success last year with Molly making it to the OSAA state meet as a freshman. Maggie is team captain the 2019-20 season! Max, is a very excited 5th grader! Max enjoys playing baseball; he was part of the All Star team that took 3rd in districts this year. All of my children have spent time at JAMS (Japanese Abacus Math School) to learn the art of abacus calculation.
As a family, we enjoy a variety of things, especially camping and visiting the beach. This summer we had a great time spending time with our family and friends. We had the opportunity to go on hikes, find natural water slides at Opal Creek and had a blast white water rafting the McKenzie River.
The 2019-2020 school years sees the 6th graders return to SHMS. I am excited to be part of this transition. At SHMS I will be teaching Science and an AVID Elective class.
Thanks for stopping by!
