Mrs. Humbird

My name is Kirsten Humbird.  This is my seventeenth year teaching, and my seventh year here in St. Helens School District.  Previously, I taught in both Woodburn and Forest Grove in Kindergarten, First and Fourth grades.  I have also taught and facilitated English Language Development programs.  Most of my experience has been in bilingual classrooms.  I attended Linfield College for my undergraduate degree and teaching license, and received my Masters of Ed. from Western Oregon University.  

 

I am an English Language Development Teacher at Columbia City and McBride Elementary schools, and at St. Helens High School.  I am thrilled to be supporting our language learners and their families here in the school district.  If you ever have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me either by phone or e-mail.

    ReadWorks is a program where students can read teacher assigned stories, and includes activities supporting vocabulary and comprehension.  If your student needs their Class Code or password, please as their ELD teacher.
