• Hello, my name is Adam Seay. I am your student’s teacher. This is my fourth year teaching full time in St. Helens and my first year teaching 6th grade. I previously taught Kindergarten for two years and 2nd grade for one year.  For the previous five years, I was a  substitute teacher in many districts including St. Helens.  I earned my Master of Arts in Teaching from Concordia University in Portland. For my student teaching internship, I had the wonderful fortune of being placed in St. Helens. I did my practicum at McBride in Kindergarten and my full student teaching experience in the 4th grade at Lewis and Clark. In the summers for the past 17 years, I have worked with youth at YMCA Camp Collins or in OMSI summer classes. I have also taught 6th grade in the Multnomah ESD's Outdoor School program. I am married for one year to my wonderful wife Jessica. We like to go to Blazer games and go to Disneyland. I grew up and live on Sauvie Island.

I love my job! I love the thirst for knowledge that students at this age possess.  I enjoy their energy, excitement, eagerness, and wonder!
