    I taught English and English Language Development for ten years in California's Bay Area before moving to Oregon in 2016. This is my fouth year teaching at St. Helens High School.

    Welcome to Language Arts and AVID!  I love working with students to become critical thinkers and strong communicators, as well as a guide for developing reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills.  I'm excited to meet, connect, and make a difference for students and their families!   I hope to hear from you!

    I have a pug named Zelda.
    If I weren't a teacher, I would either be a writer, an astronomer, or someone who helps people organize their homes and offices. I love jasmine green tea and dark chocolate-covered almonds.
