Welcome to First Grade! My name is Megan Anderson and I am a proud alumni of St. Helens High School. I have been an educator for over 15 years and enjoy building relationships within the Columbia County community. I treat my class like a "classroom family," who work and play together to achieve our daily goals.  My goals are to enspire students to be life-long learners who strive to make their world a better place. In our class, we focus on five character traits of the heart; compassion, responsibility, perseverance, integrity and teamwork.  I am a mom of two girls, and enjoy shuttling them to their dance competitions and sporting events.  I enjoy spending time camping and exploring the beautiful parts of Oregon.  I am an animal lover and lucky that our school mascot is my favorite animal!  I love the playful spirit of Otters!
