Ms. Jennifer Ranger

Hello!

My name is Jennifer Ranger and this school year will be my second year teaching Kindergarten at Lewis and Clark! I have had my sights on teaching Kindergarten ever since I decided to enter the profession. Being the first teacher in a student’s life is a huge privilege and honor.

 In My Classroom...

Students are cared about, supported as individuals, and guided to their full potential. It is going to be a wonderful year!

 A Little About Ms. Ranger...

I can't imagine being in any profession other than education. Before teaching Kindergarten, I taught 6th grade for a year at Columbia City Elementary. I have a Master's Degree in Teaching from Concordia University. I worked through graduate school as an educational assistant in Special Education, which I adored. Before coming to St. Helen’s School District, I honed my classroom management skills working as a substitute teacher in every grade from kindergarten to sixth. Additionally, I was fortunate enough to teach English in Thailand for a year. When I'm not in the classroom you can catch me out on a trail run or drinking coffee and hanging out with my puppy, Opal.
