The St. Helens School District is dedicated to maintaining a strong partnership with parents in our effort to provide the very best education for our students. The key to that partnership is open communication.
At approximately 10:42 am this morning, Lewis & Clark Elementary was placed on ‘Hold’ due to a staff medical emergency, during which local paramedics attended to the staff member. When a school is placed on ‘Hold,’ it means that all students and staff are to stay where they are and keep the area clear. At approximately 11:30 am, the ‘Hold’ was lifted, and classes resumed their normal schedule.
For the safety of our students and staff, our district, along with local emergency response personnel, follow the I Love U Guys Safety Protocols. All those within the building are safe, and we would like to thank students and staff for calmly and quickly following the protocols set in place for such events to ensure the safety of everyone involved.
