The St. Helens School District is dedicated to maintaining a strong partnership with parents in our effort to provide the very best education for our students. The key to that partnership is open communication. 

Today, during lunch period, a student experienced a medical emergency that was witnessed by a large number of students. Thanks to the quick actions of both students and staff, the student was taken to a nearby office for their own safety and privacy as they awaited emergency personnel to arrive.

We want to thank all those involved for following protocols set in place for such events so that emergency personnel could get to the student quickly and safely. All those within the building are safe, and we would like to once again thank our students and staff for quickly following the protocols set in place for such events to ensure the safety of everyone involved.
