School Board Vacancy

The St. Helens School District Board of Directors is seeking applicants for the Director Position 3 vacancy. This is a unique opportunity to serve the school community and contribute to the success of our students and schools.

Completed applications are due by noon on December 23, 2024. Applications may be:

  • Delivered in person or mailed to the St. Helens District Administration Office:

  • Submitted electronically to Kristi Ward, Executive Assistant to the Acting Superintendent and Board of Directors, at kristiw@sthelens.k12.or.us.

Please note: Late applications will not be considered.

Board Vacancy Appointment Timeline:

  • December 11, 2024: Board meeting discussion on the appointment process and declaration of the vacancy (Director Position 3).
  • December 12, 2024: Application posted and announced.
  • December 23, 2024: Application window closes at noon.
  • December 30, 2024 – January 6, 2025: Review and screening of applicants.
  • January 8, 2025: Board interviews and appointment action in open session.
